Final Friday's Finds for September 2021

Each month, I share some "Final Friday's Fab Finds" of what I'm using, loving and finding can boost productivity while bringing comfort and sanity amidst the hectivity of life. Here are my Final Friday's Fab Finds for September 2021:

“Pandemic Flux Syndrome” Podcast - Every client or contact with whom I’ve spoken lately has expressed some level of fatigue. The fluidity of life right now is compounded by making each decision and, then, having to tweak each decision repeatedly. I was the event chairperson for last week’s Triad LUNGe Forward 5K Run, Walk and Celebration; I cannot express how many things were changing minute to minute throughout, and it’s exhausting. Brene Brown’s recent podcast episode on her Dare to Lead podcast features social psychologist along with author / lecturer Amy Cuddy and is brilliant in explaining all the things from a behavioral science perspective. It’s hugely helpful to understand the reactions and emotions we’re all having these days.

An Update to the Cinderella Story - If you haven’t seen the Amazon Original production of Cinderella, you’re missing out on a timely version that was surprising, refreshing, energizing and engaging. Amidst an all-star cast, Camilla Cabello is fantastic so simply click here to access this “modern movie musical with a bold take on the classic fairytale”. You’ll be inspired for achieving your big dreams, too.

Scotty P’s Bug Mug Coffee - I realize I’m late to the game catching up on all the Gilmore Girls episodes that I’d missed along the way, but I am 100% Team Luke, which took me down the path of learning more about this talented actor who brought this character to life. Turns out that Scott Patterson has his own line of coffee, and it’s really good. I highly recommend Scotty P’s Big Mug Coffee Breakfast Blend, which is available in pods that work perfectly with my Keurig coffeemaker. Your obvious need for caffeine will thank me!

Dual Mask Brush - Although maskne is for real, I have found regular face masks help; however, I was making such a mess and not applying anything the best way possible until I uncovered this tool. The Dual Mask Brush makes both mixing and application so much easier and more effective; plus, it’s super reasonably priced, which is great.

I’d love to know what are some of your fab finds amidst all that’s happening right now. Add a comment here or email me, and maybe I’ll give your suggestion a try for an upcoming “Final Friday’s Fab Finds” post. Or do you have any feedback on prior months' fab finds that you've tried? I’d love to hear from you!
