Final Friday's Finds for June 2021

Each month, I share some “Final Friday’s Fab Finds” of what I’m using, loving and finding can boost my productivity while bringing comfort and sanity amidst the hectivity of life. This month has been a doozy with so much happening for my business, my clients, nonprofits with which I volunteer, friends and family so I’ve really needed my productivity toolbox. Here are my Final Friday’s Fab Finds for June 2021.

Bug repellent is a must these days. As we're spending more time outside, I love reading, writing or responding to emails from my screened-in porch. The perfect addition to this space is the triLED™️ Portable Mosquito Repellent Globe, which keeps away those bugs that seem to love biting my legs or arms while adding a nice, warm glow. Plus, there are no chemicals, zapping or sprays needed to stay bug-free. Alternatively, when I'm out and about, Cutter Backwoods Dry Repellent bug spray is an integral part of my survival during summer months. If there is a mosquito in my vicinity, that bug is going to bite me, and I'll be itching for days, making this spray vital. The primary ingredient is DEET, which has proven undeniably effective, and this particular version is a dry formula, which means there's no greasy film left on my skin after spraying it on.

Creative organization is always a welcome tool in my productivity toolbox, and I’ve found a way to implement that creativity in organizing my kitchen. Sure, I’m not one for cooking much, but we all have to eat and drink to stay alive. As many of us are saving both money and the planet by using reusable bottles for our beverages, keeping those tumblers and containers easily accessible can be a challenge. Although JINAMART stackable storage racks are typically used for storing bottles of wine, I've put them to work organizing my S'well, Corkcicle and May Designs bottles, making sure they are easily accessible while taking up as little amount of space as possible.

A pill box enables knowing when to take what medications, which is super important with a growing list of to-do items. You can choose between boxes for one pill-taking interval per day, AM & PM options as well as more complex options for taking pills 4 times a day. When paired with repeating reminders on one’s smartphone, these make it easy to stay on top of health and wellness, particularly as the mind is for thinking, not remembering, which includes when to take each day’s necessary medications, both over-the-counter as well as prescriptions.

A better skincare routine means my acne is being minimized, my sunspots are disappearing and the skin on my face is feeling better overall. True Botanicals' Clear Pure Radiance Oil offers a nutrient-rich formula that supports the skin to feel clear, smooth, balance and hydrated through the upcoming hotter months. I've started mixing mine with True Botanicals' Vitamin C Booster, which is slowly but surely reducing the appearance of my dark spots and hyperpigmentation. Added bonus? True Botanicals is currently having a sale with up to 30% off so you can get a stellar skincare routine for a fraction of the cost.

I’d love to know what are some of your fab finds amidst all that’s happening right now. Add a comment here or email me, and maybe I’ll give your suggestion a try for an upcoming “Final Friday’s Fab Finds” post. Or do you have any feedback on prior months' fab finds that you've tried? I’d love to hear from you!
