The year was 1981. Congress made history when it requested that the president proclaim Women’s History Week, beginning on March 7 of the following year. Then, in 1987, the National Women’s History Project asked Congress to set aside the entire month of March to celebrate the history of women. Congress did, and we’ve been celebrating ever since!
Now, the year is 2022, and, while there is much left to do, we’ve come a long way. Join us in recognizing and honoring the contributions of women as we hear from some veteran members of the Greater Raleigh chapter for the National Association of Women Business Owners, all of whom will be sharing their stories and some of the lessons they’ve learned along the way.
“Celebrating Women’s History Month with NAWBO-GR’s Veteran Chapter Members” will be Thursday, March 23rd from 11am EST to 1:00pm EST at Sheraton Imperial Hotel RDU, 4700 Emperor Blvd, Durham, NC 27703.
Register today so you can join in the fun and inspiration while hearing from these rock stars.
